GaadiMate ("we", "us", "our") operates the website gaadimate.com, a platform for discovering, comparing, and shopping for electric and other vehicles in India. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal data when you use our website and services.
By using GaadiMate, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
- Contact details - your name, mobile number, and (optionally) email address when you sign in, submit a “Get Best Price” enquiry, or contact us.
- Enquiry details - the car, variant, and city relevant to an enquiry, so we can route it to matching dealers.
- Account activity - saved cars, favourites, saved comparisons, price-drop alerts, and recently viewed vehicles when you are signed in.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data - pages visited, tools used, search and filter activity, and the time spent on the platform.
- Device and technical data - IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, and referring URLs.
- Cookies and similar technologies - used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure usage. See the “Cookies & Tracking” section below.
We do not ask for passwords. Buyers sign in using a one-time password (OTP) sent to their mobile number.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide core features - car discovery, comparisons, calculators, the EV quiz, and your saved items.
- To route enquiries - connecting your “Get Best Price” enquiry to dealers matching the car and city you selected.
- To authenticate you - issuing and verifying OTPs and maintaining your session.
- To improve the platform - understanding which tools and pages are useful, and fixing problems.
- To communicate with you - responding to enquiries, sending price-drop alerts you opted into, and important service notices.
- To meet legal obligations and prevent fraud, abuse, or misuse of the platform.
4. Consent and Legal Basis
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), we process your personal data on the basis of the consent you provide when you submit information, and for legitimate uses permitted by law such as fulfilling a service you requested.
You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting our Grievance Officer. Withdrawing consent will not affect processing already carried out, and may limit features that rely on that data.

GaadiMate is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

Our platform may link to dealer websites, manufacturer pages, and other third-party sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of every site you visit.
